  • Be technically prepared, Collect from us client’s skype ID and timing of interview. Be ready at least 15 minutes prior to the interview and if possible keep in touch with us, test your system& Skype before interview. Test call will help you to ensure that your system is functioning properly.
  • Wear formal dress, Avoid Casual attire, Just because you’re doing the interview from the comfort of your place doesn’t mean you get to stay comfortable. Treat Skype interview exactly like you would any other interview
  • Try to avoid using mobile phone for the interview as capability of desktop or laptop will be superior capabilities both in audio and video. Raise your camera up to a level where you’re looking straight at it, not down at it. This will help to give you a more natural look.
  • Set yourself up in an area with good light and a pleasing background.
  • Do your interview in a room where you can shut the door and block out outside noises
  • As it is skype, wait for your turn, listen and answer. If you are not clear about question due to poor audio, don’t hesitate to ask the interviewer to repeat the question.
  • Along with natural eye contact, try keeping your expression pleasant and engaged. Not only will it help convey a sense of confidence to your interviewer, but it’s been scientifically proven that smiling can help reduce stress…always a good thing during an interview
